An international conference on “Mongolian development policy planning: clustering" was successfully held in the NUM library on September 27-28, 2018. In 2008, on the initiative of professor Ch. Khashchuluun, the director of the School of Economic Studies, the NUM became a member of Microeconomics of Competitiveness /MOC/ affiliate network of the Harvard Business School and started research on national strategy and competitiveness. The conference aimed to provide an opportunity to share experience in national strategy and competitiveness research conducted in the past decade and present findings in the field of cluster research to national and international researchers. Professor Ch. Undram, the NUM Vice-President for Finance and Planning and professor D. Zayabaatar, the NUM SAS director, delivered a welcoming speech. Ts. Zorigtbat, the Director of the General Financial Policy Department from the Ministry of Finance, made a guest presentation. In total, 8 presentations were made.
